Arvid's Fishing Report

This spring Betty, our wonderful neighbor for thirty-eight years, sold her home and moved to an apartment in West Baudette. Our new neighbor’s have a seven year old son named Gabe. This morning Gabe and I fished the river by the airport for a couple of hours as kind of a pre-fish for tomorrows Take a Kid Fishing day. We each caught two small walleyes that we released. We had plenty of action for the middle of the day so the river may be a good option tomorrow if the weather is poor. We fished the middle of the river in 17 feet of water using frozen shiners.
