Wally and Terry were looking forward to coming up this weekend to provide whatever assistance they could to help me get a deer. Well; no help required. On Wednesday afternoon, in windy conditions, a nice spike buck walked out not fifteen minutes after I got up in Eric’s stand. That ends a season with, for me, a lot of sitting and not much seeing. We are all pleasantly surprised at how well the season went with the reports we are getting and what the preseason outlook was.
