We are nine days into the deer season and I’ve seen seven deer. One may have been a spike buck, but wasn’t 100% sure so I’ve yet to fire a shot. Wally, Terry and Dave were back home working this week so it was just Gerry and I hunting and Gerry wasn’t working too hard at it. Wally came home for the weekend and Sunday morning sat in my stand and got a nice buck. How about that; I sit for eight days at various times in my stand and he sits for two hours and gets a buck. This is just not my year.
