Arvid's Fishing Report

I’ve been a Notre Dame football fan all my life and one thing on the old bucket list was to go to a Fighting Irish game. We are in Arizona for some winter vacation and a visit with Jodi, Steve and Scott. Steve picked us up at the airport and on the way home told us he wanted to take Scott to the Fiesta Bowl and asked if I wanted to go. I knew that Notre Dame was playing Ohio State in a bowl game, but didn’t realize until recently that it was in the Fiesta Bowl. Steve found some reasonably priced tickets on Craigs List. They were great seats; the Notre Dame section; row 19 in the lower level on the 45 yard line. The game didn’t go our way, but it was fun and entertaining with 71,000 in attendance. Halftime was equally as good with both school’s marching bands. Check this one off the bucket list.
