After the second weekend, our group is now four for five. Dave got a nice eight point buck on Friday morning. Wally, who is probably the most dedicated hunter of our group, is the only one to not fill his tag, but he is typically in no hurry and has this last weekend to get one.
This morning, we finally have some sun. It’s cold with maybe an inch of snow on the ground. The bay in front of the house has frozen over, although nice weather is forecasted for the next few days so it may re-open. I don’t know of anyone that got any minnows and several of us are wondering how river fishing is going to be when we can get on the ice.
