We are having a great run of nice weather and fishing continues to be good in the river.
Tuesday morning Whitey and I fished the river for a couple hours. We pulled plugs in 10-14 foot of water and caught nine nice walleyes; kept eight and released a 22″. There were boats that were anchored up and some were drift fishing. All seemed to be catching some fish. I did talk to a guy later in the day that had fished the lake and did not do well; two fish for two guys. I guess it helps to fish the right spot at the right time.
